轉戰獨盟2連勝！效力獨立聯盟南馬里蘭藍蟹隊的台灣好手王建民昨先發面對藍魚隊，主投6局失3分領軍奪勝，加上前一場8.2局失2分演出，已連2場繳出優質先發，不只美職，目前日職各球隊也密切注意，其實去年季中就曾傳出軟銀鷹隊等，多支球團有意網羅他的消息，這也代表，建仔或許有機會前往日職發展。
王建民今年35歲，不過他在大聯盟擁有62勝的成績，也獲得日媒關注，根據《日刊現代》報導球探說法，「王建民在日本單季還能有10勝以上成績」，也有球探認為，建仔就算從年紀上來看也不是問題。
日職本季有超過40歲的洋將銳重回樂天金鷹，且目前拿下5勝的案例，而建仔過去在大聯盟戰績輝煌，若維持健康，很可能再次被日本球團鎖定。
