大聯盟「強投豪打」再添一位！大都會新秀麥茲(Steven Matz)29日先發遭遇紅人，不但投出7.2局僅中國信託小額信貸 軍人貸款 小額貸款失2分的優質內容，站上打擊區更是繳出單場3安猛打賞，灌進4分打點，成為大聯盟自1914年來首位初登板就貢獻4打點的投手。

姓名與大都會(Mets)有諧音的麥茲，日前才從3A被調上支援，大聯盟生涯首度登板就為自己留名史冊；二局下上場打擊，敲出生涯首安，1支帶有2分打點的二壘安打，六局下再敲回2分，寫下大聯盟百年來首位初登板就敲進4打點的投手，同時也是隊史包括野手在內，生涯首戰最多打點紀錄。

「雖然首戰就挨轟，但整體來說還是讓我感到興奮。」麥茲說，「我不像當個打擊時就輕易出局的投手。」

麥茲也沒忘記他的投球本業，雖面對首位打者菲利浦(Brandon Phillips)挨了生涯首轟，但7.2局僅被敲5支安打，其中包括2發陽春砲失2分，並用96英哩的速球搭配70英哩的曲球，混淆打者，送出6次三振2次保送，順利奪下生涯第一勝。

24歲的麥茲本季在3A繳出7勝4敗，防禦率2.19的好成績，打擊率3成04也相當夠水準，名符其實的「二刀流」；未來將與哈維(Matt Harvey)、迪格隆(Jacob deGrom)以及「雷神」辛德賈德(Noah Syndergaard)共同撐起大都會先發輪值。

大都會今日進行雙重賽，首場與紅人鏖戰到延長賽十三局才以2比1險勝；第二場則是在麥茲的鬼神表現下以7比2獲勝，收下4連勝，同時完成系列賽橫掃。
